Founded by rescuers · Built on love

Founded on Love. Guided by Purpose. Defined by Culture.

Our rescue roots influence every conversation, every decision, and every companion entrusted to us.

Our story & mission

They are never “just a pet.”

Thor’s began with people who know the joy, responsibility, and heartbreak of opening a home to animals in need. Our mission is to make a family’s most difficult day feel less confusing, less impersonal, and more deeply cared for.

We provide compassionate pet aftercare, thoughtful memorial choices, and honest guidance—without pressure or rushed decisions.

What makes Thor’s different

People before process.

A local, compassionate approach built around dignity and communication.

01

Rescue perspective

We understand the bond because animals have shaped our lives, too.

02

Personal attention

Appointments allow us to give each family calm, unrushed care.

03

Honest guidance

We explain the choices clearly and respect the decisions you make.

04

Every species matters

Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and other companions are family.

Chain of custody

Careful identification at every step.

Clear identification and communication follow your companion from transfer through cremation and return. We want families to understand who is caring for their pet and what happens next.

  1. 1
    Transfer into our care

Your companion’s information and selected arrangements are documented.

  2. 2
    Continuous identification

Identification remains connected throughout the aftercare process.

  3. 3
    Thoughtful preparation

Selected urns and keepsakes are prepared with careful attention.

  4. 4
    Return to your family

We communicate clearly when your companion is ready to come home.

Our guarantee

Dignity is never optional.

Your companion will be treated with respect. Your questions will be answered honestly. Your family will be given room to make choices at its own pace.
